Corporate Philanthropy, Earmarked Dollars & Assumptions

I’m beginning to think that institutional philanthropy is just too corporate for my taste. I guess I’m changing or I’m just not buying into all the hype and fluff that so many larger than life nonprofits offer. Really, it is a direct challenge to the many assumptions we hold without even realizing it. Does everything need to be scaled bigger? If we raise more money will we actually impact more change?
