The S.C.I.E.N.C.E. of Giving

The SCIENCE of giving is very different from the ART of giving. As I stated earlier in this month, the ART of giving is about Authenticity, Relationships, and Transformation. It is much more qualitative in nature; touchy/feely so to speak. But the SCIENCE of giving tends to be more quantitative in nature. After all, scientific discovery is built on setting hypothesis, testing them, and reporting the results. The same is true in the world of philanthropy.
