No donor wants their personal information bought and sold or simply taken from one nonprofit to another. And though all of the professional development officers say “they would never do such a thing, because that would be unethical,” lip service is one thing and reality is something different. In the real world, donor’s home addresses, cell numbers and email addresses should remain private.
